Home Learning

We believe that home-learning should be enjoyable and manageable for all concerned. We do not specify specific amounts of time that must be spent on every task, nor do we set a day for work to be submitted by, preferring individual children and families to set their own routines.

Below is an outline of the home learning required to be completed each week. Your class teacher will give your child a book to record this in and guidance on how to do so. They will check and sign home learning weekly and your child will have weekly tests to assess their progress.  In addition to the guidance below, your child will receive ideas on how to support their topic learning within your written reports. Please help us celebrate their learning by encouraging them to bring in their contributions for them to share with the class.
